What should I wear to my first pole class?
If you’re just starting out, a tank top and regular shorts are perfectly fine! You don’t have to wear super revealing clothes — just something you can move freely in.
As you progress and start learning more advanced moves, you’ll need more skin contact with the pole for grip. At that point, many students choose to switch to sports bras and pole shorts. But it’s totally up to you. Go at your own pace and wear what feels right.
Do I need any prior fitness background to join?
Not at all! You don’t need to be thin, flexible, or have a fitness/dance background to begin your pole journey.
As your instructor, it’s my job to teach you the right techniques and guide you safely towards your goals. We build strength and flexibility in class itself.
All you need is an open mind and a willingness to have fun 🙂
Many of my students were unsure about their weight, strength, or flexibility when they began. Now they’re thriving! Check out the Power in Pictures section and Her Rise, Her Words section to see what’s possible for you.
I don’t dance / I have two left feet — can I still join?
Absolutely! Pole isn’t about being a “perfect dancer.” It’s about discovering new ways to move, build confidence, and reconnect with your body.
Even if you’ve never danced before, you’ll find pole to be playful, powerful, and surprisingly beginner-friendly.
If I’m on the heavier side, can I pole dance?
Yes, 100%! Pole dance is for every body. Strength doesn’t come first — it’s built along the way.
I’ve taught students of all shapes and sizes, and every single one of them found their own unique flow. With the right techniques, safe progressions, and supportive guidance, your body will surprise you with what it can do.
Check out the Her Rise, Her Words section to see what’s possible for you.
Remember: the pole doesn’t judge — it simply meets you where you are.
Is there an age limit for joining?
Not at all. I’ve had students as young as 5 years old, and ladies in their 50s. Every body is different, and what truly matters is having an instructor who knows how to guide each age group and body type safely.
🌟 The little ones are fearless and playful.
🌟 The elder ladies are finding new strength, confidence, and joy through dance.
Pole really is for everyone — it’s never too early or too late to start.
Check out the Her Rise, Her Words section to see what’s possible for you.
How often is class held?
Classes run once a week.
When you pick a slot and lock it in, that becomes your dedicated weekly time — your little date with the pole, just for you. ✨
Can I do more than one class a week?
Yes, absolutely — you’re welcome to attend more than one class a week, as long as there are slots available in the other batches.
That said, we recommend starting with one class a week to let your body acclimatize to pole training. Once you settle in and feel ready, you can gradually increase your frequency to two classes a week (again, depending on available slots).
This way, you’ll build strength, flow, and confidence safely — without overwhelming your body.
How can I progress if I only attend class once a week?
Consistency is key — and even one class a week will get you started on your pole journey.
To support your growth, the studio also offers dedicated practice time for students with active packs. This gives you space to review, repeat, and refine what you’ve learned in class.
-
Practice Fee: ₹500 per hour (for current students only)
-
Schedule: A separate practice-time timetable is available in the Class Schedule section of the site
This way, you’ll have a chance to deepen your skills between classes and see steady progress on the pole. ✨
I’ve recently had a C-section. Is it safe for me to start pole classes?
Your safety comes first 🌸 After a C-section, it’s important to give your body time to heal and to check with your doctor before beginning pole or any new physical activity. Everyone’s recovery timeline is different, so please get medical clearance before starting.
That said, pole can be a wonderful way to rebuild strength and reconnect with your body once you’re ready. One of my students joined 7 months after her C-section, and she’s been poling with us for over a year now. She’s thriving, loving the art form — and even dreams of bringing her daughter to pole when she’s older!
Many new moms (and women in general) share that pole makes them feel more confident, more in tune with themselves, and freer in their bodies. With the right care and pace, it can be a deeply empowering practice. 💕
✨ If you’re a new mom considering pole, know that you’ll be supported every step of the way.
I’ve had an injury in the past. Can I still join pole classes?
Yes, you can — and you’ll be in safe hands. 🌸
Over the years, I’ve worked with many students who’ve had different challenges — from knee injuries to sciatica to other mobility concerns. Every body is different, which means every student’s journey is unique. My job is to meet you where you are and guide you with the right pace, modifications, and support.
Progress will happen — it just looks different for each person. And often, students are surprised by how much strength, freedom, and confidence they discover along the way.
If you’re curious, I invite you to try a session with me and see for yourself how pole can work for your body. You might just find it’s exactly the practice you’ve been looking for. 💕
